Who We Are
How this came to life — and why it matters.
Lorin Starr and Bruce Starr have both participated in a wide range of expos over the years. Through their combined experience, they developed a vision for what this kind of event could offer a community like ours. They believe the time is right for a large-scale health and wellness expo in North Palm Beach County.
Step into two days that bring together passionate practitioners, wellness vendors, and curious attendees for a shared experience of learning, inspiration and growth. Whether you are here to discover new tools, connect with others, explore healing practices, or simply take time for yourself, this event offers space to engage, reflect, and be part of something impactful.
Lorin has worked dozens of health expos as a practitioner. Bruce hosted the first major expo in Broward County at the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center in 1994. They’ve seen the impact these gatherings can have — not just on businesses, but on people’s lives.
They know people are seeking something real — not just products or programs, but spaces that feel safe, uplifting, and alive with possibility. That’s what they’ve set out to create.
There are always new ideas, technologies, and approaches to wellness emerging — alongside tried-and-true methods that might be new to you. They envisioned a space where people could spend the day learning, exploring, connecting in ways that support our wellbeing — and walking away feeling reconnected.

A Closer Look
Bruce is a seasoned talk show host, author, and podcast producer with a passion for connection, wellness, and personal growth. He created Broward County’s first major health expo in 1994, featuring visionary speakers like Dolores Cannon and Dannion Brinkley. Through his nonprofit work and themed media projects, he continues to raise awareness around meaningful causes. With decades of experience and a clear vision, Bruce brings heart, history, and purpose to the Body and Soul Expo.
Bruce Starr
Lorin is a massage therapist and sound healing practitioner with over 22 years of experience helping others feel their best. She has owned two successful medi spas, worked with Hollywood celebrities, and continues to collaborate with national health-focused companies. Passionate about holistic wellness, she’s also a frequent participant in expos and healing events. Her seasoned eye and deep passion bring grounding, heart, and clarity to the Body and Soul Expo.

We created this event to shine a light on what’s already here — and to welcome a few national treasures into the mix. It’s the kind of day that might just introduce you to something (or someone) you didn’t know you were looking for — and leave you feeling more connected to your community than when you arrived.
